Chill ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we collect it, how we use it, and how we may share it when you use the Chill mobile application ("App").
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information depending on how you use Chill:
1.1 Account Information
Information you provide when registering, logging in, or managing your account, such as phone number, email address, account identifier, and profile information.
1.2 User Content
Content you actively enter in the App, including your intent text, posts, chat messages, comments, profile text, and feedback you submit to us.
1.3 Device and Technical Information
Device model, operating system version, app version, language settings, IP address, crash logs, and diagnostic data generated during your use of the App.
1.4 Usage Information
Information about how you interact with the App, such as pages visited, features used, operation records, and session activity.
1.5 Permission-Based Information
If you authorize it, we may access device permissions such as camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, or location for specific product functions. We do not access these permissions unless you grant them.
2. How We Collect Information
We collect information in the following ways:
- Directly from you when you register, log in, edit your profile, publish content, or submit intent content.
- Automatically from your device and App usage through logs, system diagnostics, and service records.
- From permissions you choose to authorize for specific features.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information to:
- provide account login, registration, communication, posting, and other core App functions;
- maintain service security, diagnose problems, and improve product performance;
- use third-party analytics (UMeng) for feature usage analysis and product improvement;
- personalize product experience and optimize content or feature recommendations;
- respond to support requests, complaints, and feedback;
- comply with legal obligations.
UMeng may analyze and optimize products based on device and usage data (such as device model, OS version, app version, language settings, IP address, event logs, and performance diagnostics).
UMeng SDK (third-party analytics service provider) may collect device information, including IMEI, MAC, Android ID, IDFA, OpenUDID, GUID, SIM IMSI, and location information.

4. Third-Party AI Service Providers
To provide AI-related product capabilities, Chill may use third-party large model service providers, including OpenAI and Openrouter.
When you actively submit intent content or other AI-processing requests, we may send only the content you enter for that request to such third-party AI providers so they can generate, process, or return results to you.
We do not send other personal user data for these AI requests, including your contact list, photo library contents, precise location, government ID information, payment information, or other unrelated profile data.
We may send user prompts and related context to third-party AI service providers (such as OpenAI or Openrouter) in order to generate responses.
The data sent may include:
- User input text
- Conversation context
This data is processed only to generate AI responses and is not used for other purposes.
5. Data Shared with Third-Party AI Providers
Before any AI-related data is transmitted, we will request your consent through the App. If you do not agree, the related AI feature will not be available.
For AI-related requests, the data that may be sent is limited to:
- the intent text or prompt content you enter;
- minimal technical metadata necessary to complete the request, such as request identifiers or language context.
The recipients of such data may include:
- OpenAI;
- Openrouter.

These data are used only to:
- process your submitted intent content;
- generate AI responses or task results;
- maintain service stability, safety, and abuse prevention.
We require any third-party service provider with whom we share data to provide the same or equivalent level of protection for personal data.
6. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only in the following cases:
- with service providers supporting hosting, infrastructure, analytics (including UMeng), customer support, or AI capability delivery, under confidentiality and data protection obligations;
- when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or competent authority;
- with your explicit consent.
7. Data Retention
We retain data only for as long as necessary to provide the service, fulfill the purposes stated in this Policy, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with legal obligations.
8. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent you previously provided.
9. Children
Chill is not intended for children under 13 years old, or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
